Germany: TV interview (video) in “Deutsch”
A three-part segment of the show with Günther Jauch-SternTV of yesterday evening, about the family and history of the Romeike Neubronner families regarding "homeschooling".
Dagmar and Tilman Neubronner were on site and discussed with Josef Kraus, president of the German Teachers Association on schooling and homeschooling.

I think that the Neubronners and the Romeikes have done an excellent job here. Their statements and point of view are thoughtful and reasonable (whatever that means). The young people appear to be thriving.
Josef Kraus on the other hand shows that he is biased and he seems to feel threatened. He talks about the danger of fundamentalists having the right to home educate their children. He refuses to listen to the facts and uses fear tactics to attack the rights of parents to educate their children as they see fit.
I think the real threat to governments lies in the fact that home educated people do so well, academically and socially. What does that say about the school system? It boils down to control of our young. It has nothing to do with getting a good education.
