What is the easiest way for correspondents to publish on the Learning Freely site?

LFN is a category based system

The easiest way to start writing and publshing is to
click the "correspondents" tab of the menu. This will take you to the list of correspondents and the country they are in.
click on your country’s link to take you the that county’s home page.

Click the Add post icon  for the category you want to post in. you will reach the editing page (categories have been selected automatically.)

If you choose to add categories in addition to or instead of the country category, you must select them manually in the window below the writing area, which states "Add new category"

you are authorized to publish in any of the following categories on LFN:

You may request another category to access or, even for another one to be created.

Now it’s time to write and publish , 2 different steps.

Writing and Editing

The steps to take here are mostly self evident. Mouse over the icons will reveal what they are for, though you will likely not use very many of them. If you get stuck call or email me.

Most items under the writing area you will not need to concern yourself about, except possibly the "Add new category" window, mentioned previously.

    * 1. When you are done writing Click on "Save"   (Do this as often as you like)

    * 2. Then when the editor returns Click Preview

    * 3. If you like what you see go back to the editor and click Publish.

    * 4. If you do not like what you see, continue to edit and follow 1 through 4 again

Any time you save, the file is saved as a draft (not published) and can always be retrieved by clicking the "view drafts" link, which is under the Related heading on the editor page sidebar.

It will remain in that state until you choose to publish it. That can be at any time you go to the editor page, minutes, hours or days later.

    * To Publish (make it public)    Step 3
