There had been some problems with on site publishing. These have now been corrected, and the roles and capabilities for coordinators re-configured. All coordinators should now be able to publish on-line without any difficulty.

The categories coordinators can post to have been extended beyond the country categories to include "The News" (international) and "Articles". You may also request author permission for other categories, just ask.

Please publish something in your country’s categories, even if it is just a test post, so we can determine that the system is in fact working for all coordinators.

Both of these volunteer roles are essentially communication roles.

Coordinator: is the more demanding of the 2 roles.

This is for those who wish to play a primary role to help continue buliding this worldwide network of Natural Learning families. It does require a  real commitment.

What does a coordinator do?

• Provide information for the Local News, Legalities, Support Groups, and Other categories for your location.

This can be done by you publishing directly on the site itself, or by sending such information to the International Coordinator

• From the different areas of your country, state or province, Select persons to be "Contact Persons" representing those areas.
  

This could be done via your already established friends, acquaintances or contacts. This procedure naturally forms a visible local network, and such a network may already exist.

Anyone involved with Natural Learning, Unschooling or other learner directed Education, and who is sincere and intent in accomplishing the objectives mentioned above, is invited to participate as a "Coordinator".

Why this structure?
Coordinators selecting Contact Persons from people who they may know, or be aware of, that live in the same part of the world makes communication easier and helps maintain the unique local network identity.

ContactPerson:
This role is for those who may not have the time required of Coordinators, but who would like to make themselves available to answer peoples questions about Natural Learning or "Home Based Education" in your Location in the world.

What does a Contact Person do?

• Reply to e-mail questions regarding Natural Learning or other terminology used like Unschooling, Home Based Education, etc.

You may choose to use Skype, chat, etc.

• Communicate with the LFN Coordinator in your location, if there is one appointed

share information about any interesting News and events, or any information directly or indirectly related to learning.
If There is no Coordinator for your location, then send information to the the International Coordinator
Anything pertaining to learning issues in your area, News stories, events, court cases. books, stories and other articles is acceptable.
You may also request publishing rights on the site’s 4 categories for your location.

Anyone involved with Natural Learning, Unschooling or other learner directed Education, and who is aware of related issues in their local area, is invited to participate as a "Contact Person".

The more Contact Persons there are, in all states, provinces and countries, the faster the information travels, contributing to a strong community of Natural Learning folk, a worldwide collective of those learning naturally. Such a collective could assist families everywhere and contribute to significant change in how Education is perceived
